What makes my books different?

I wanted to create heartwarming stories that tackle life’s more challenging experiences; parental loss, bullying, racism, disability etc.

Too often, children’s books avoid these areas or gloss over them. As a former teacher, I know firsthand that children can handle more than we give them credit for. They often wish to discuss these topics with a familiar adult but don’t always know how to start or are too afraid of upsetting us. I hope my books educate children but also open up avenues for discussions. We can’t expect our children to be emotionally literate if we don’t show them how it’s done.
